Chorleywood Garden

The project was developed over time in close collaboration with the client to create something of lasting value. A multi-generational family garden for relaxing and entertaining features expansive areas of lawn surrounded by ornamental meadow planting and clipped hedging.

A contemporary terrace leads to expansive areas of lawn surrounded by ornamental meadow planting and clipped Prunus lusitanica hedging. An avenue of table-topped Liquidambar runs through the site to echo the horizontal lines of the new swimming pool building, designed by Jane Duncan Architects.

We retained an existing hazel coppice along with two specimen Acers to help embed a sense of legacy and history to the garden.

An existing hazel coppice and two specimen Acers contribute to the long term heritage of the garden.
